There are no specific prerequisites for attending the ICP-ACC training, but it will be good if you have a basic understanding of Agile manifesto, and some experience working in an agile environment can prove to be useful. Prior to attending this training, it is recommended to go through the Agile Manifesto and Scrum Guide.
You have to attend an authorized trainer-led training in order to get ICP-ACC certified. This training is delivered by an experienced Certified Trainer who is authorized by ICAgile. Upon successful completion of the training, you will be given the ICP-ACC certification.
ICP-ACC Training will be done in different durations. Usually it will be a 2 days training from 9AM IST to 5PM IST. Sometimes it will be conducted from 8AM IST to 4 PM IST. Another pattern is a 3 day schedule during the evening India time, 6PM IST to 11 PM IST. This is to help the USA, Canada, and Europe.
There is no exam for ICP-ACC certification. Each ICAgile Member Organization determines how they want to assess their students (e.g., in-class activities, group exercises, etc.).You have to attend the 16 hours of certification Training and you can get the certification after the completion of the Training.

No, you cannot get the ICP-ACC certification without Training. This is because, when you attend the Training, you will get an in-depth understanding of the concepts so that it helps you to implement those concepts in your profession effectively.
Before COVID-19 we used to conduct physical classroom training. During the COVID-19 Scrum Alliance approved to conduct Live Virtual training. Our live virtual training is conducted through the Zoom platform. Our live virtual training is equally interactive and engaging. We also have occasional physical classroom training also.
